Eternal Life was conceived as an ongoing series of albums in miniature. Each volume is composed as a single piece of music, lyrically and instrumentally exploring an ongoing, maze-like narrative. The project has only one rule: Each volume must feel like a complete album while being short enough to fit onto a single side of vinyl.
In April 2012, the band successfully Kickstarted a vinyl release of
the first two volumes of Eternal Life. On it you will hear: Randomized
analog synthesizers, pummeled to death drums, washes of ambience, melodic bass lines, dueling singers dueling themselves, electric guitars that sound like synthesizers, synthesizers that sound like electric guitars, sophisticated harmonies, synthetic tropical soundscapes, psychedelic freakouts, and crafty songwriting. Repetition is avoided. Songs morph into other songs. Hooks appear with multiple listens. This is a record designed to be heard 100 times without boring.
